Travel Vaccination
We offer proud to offer a travel vaccination service at AllCare Pharmacy Our qualified and trained pharmacists are available for travel consultations to establish your vaccination needs and requirements. We also offer anti-malarial which can be dispensed at the same appointment.
Why are they Important
Vaccinations are very important to protect yourself and your loved ones. Also, for your travel insurance to be valid, you need to have done the recommended vaccinations. Some vaccinations have multiple doses so it’s important that you plan to have your vaccination in advance of your departure date, usually 6-8 weeks prior.
We offer bookings and walk-in appointments to suit your needs. Our pharmacists have received specific training which is evaluated every two years to ensure their skills and knowledge are kept up to date.
Common Vaccinations

Do I have to pay?
Travel vaccinations service which we provide is a private service and is not provided by the NHS. However, upon consultation if we determine that your surgery is able to provide the vaccination on the NHS then we will refer you where appropriate.
Risk Assessment
Before we provide any vaccination it is important that we carry out a risk assessment, this simply is a medical history check, any medications or medical conditions which you may have that may influence which vaccine is best suited to you. This is an assessment which you GP or nurse would typically do at your GP practice.
Who will vaccinate?
All our pharmacist are highly qualified and have done over 3 thousand vaccinations
