AllCare Prescription Collection & Home Delivery Service
We offer a free prescription and home delivery service particularly to anyone who has a long term illness or is physically unable to collect their medication such as the elderly. This service is an advance service and is funded by the NHS so therefore unlike other pharmacies who may charge we still are providing a free service to those select people. Come or call the chemist to see if you qualify
Who Delivers?
AllCare Drivers are in uniform and all are CRB checked.
Can you post my medication?
Unless the patient hands us written consent to post their medication, we cannot post medication as it may be a control drug, fridge item or you may have pets and children and we do not want to leave any medication unattended
What if I miss my delivery?
If we miss you then we usually leave a slip in the post to alert you that we attempted the delivery. We only make one attempt as we other multiples of deliveries and kindly as if you can collect the missed delivery
What times do you deliver?
Our deliveries operate Monday to Friday and are between the hours of 9am to 7pm. Some branches may offer a Saturday delivery but core deliveries times are Mon to Friday and NO Sunday deliveries. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a time when the driver may reach you however you can always contact your local branch and ask how far the driver is
Delivery of Control Drugs?
Control Drugs are specially regulated medication and require extra vigilance. If you have a control drug which needs delivering, please note on receipt the driver may ask you for identification as we want to ensure we have given the medication to the correct person. If you are not at home, we can always leave it with a responsible person at home providing they are over 18. The driver will ask you to sign the document and may ask for ID of the person receiving it.
